Cottonwood

Cottonwood is an attractive neighborhood conveniently located near the center of Fort Collins. This subdivision has homes mostly within the price range between $125,000 and $295,000. Most of the homes were built from 1976 to 1990, with some being updated and lots being filled in during later years. There are 165 homes in Cottonwood and about 125 of them are owner occupied. The neighborhood schools for this subdivision are O’dea Elementary, Lesher Middle School, and Fort Collins High School.

With its central location, Cottonwood residents have easy access to many attractions all over town, in both the older part of town and the ever expanding south eastern part.  Only about half a mile away is Spring Park with access to the Spring Creek Trail. Another nearby park is Edora park which is right next to EPIC, or Edora Pool and Ice Center. Also close is the Whole Foods Shopping Center with Whole Foods, Performance Bike, Full Cycle Bike, and Miramont Lifestyle Fitness. Cottonwood is also near the Scotch Pines Shopping Center including the Sunflower Farmers Market, Great Harvest Bread, Starbucks, and She She Salon. Also nearby is the Foothills Mall, with Macy’s, Sears, and Hollister. In the South Eastern part of town, residents  have east access to the growing Harmony Corridor and Front Range Village.
